Overview
i3 is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Configuration Manager to support a cross-functional software development team in the Launched Effects (LE) of CPE Aviation (formerly known as PEO Aviation). The ideal candidate will be responsible for contract deliverable selection and managing and analyzing program data and associated documentation to support product operation and decision-making. You will work closely with multiple product leads to ensure data integrity, quality, and accessibility.

i3 is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Configuration Manager to support a cross-functional software development team in the Launched Effects (LE) of CPE Aviation (formerly known as PEO Aviation). The ideal candidate will be responsible for contract deliverable selection and managing and analyzing program data and associated documentation to support product operation and decision-making. You will work closely with multiple product leads to ensure data integrity, quality, and accessibility.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining accurate configuration documentation, supports lifecycle management, and conducts audits to ensure compliance with standards and contract requirements.
- Ensuring the integrity of system baselines, controls changes to hardware, software, and documentation, and facilitates Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and ensure alignment with program objectives.
- Documenting comprehensive documentation of data management processes, data sources, data deliverables, and data flows.
- Continuously improving identified opportunities for process improvements in data management practices and recommend solutions.
- Ensure stored data is easily accessible to internal and external teams
- Respond to inquiries and requests for information from program and product personnel in a timely manner
- Work closely with leadership teams to create data management strategies that support data modeling
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience required.
- Experience in Configuration Management or similar Records/Documentation responsibilities.
- Knowledge of version control systems and modern office tools and software products.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Experience working in a government program office is a plus.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Clearance.
Knowledge/Skills
- Knowledge of office administration and procedures.

- Regular i3 hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, however, additional hours may be required on occasion. Regular and punctual attendance is required.
