As a Sr. Systems Engineer with MTSI, you will support a government organization essential to U.S. national security. In this position, you will apply knowledge and expertise to current and future projects, ensuring the reliability and performance of a variety of advanced systems through rigorous design, development, and testing phases. This position will be located at Patrick Space Force Base, Florida.
• Lead cross-domain system sustainment initiatives, ensuring long-term system viability and alignment with the strategic needs of program equity holders.
• Cultivate and maintain strong professional relationships with key stakeholders, including government sponsors, industry partners, and internal teams, serving as a primary liaison to ensure program objectives are met.
• Experience throughout the lifecycle of military RF communications and sensing systems, satellites, or telecommunication systems and architectures is highly desired.
• Experience with all areas of Interoperable Enterprise Military Communications and Networking Technologies, including Line of Sight (LOS), Beyond Line of Sight (BLOS), onboard and off-board.
• Knowledge and experience with Low Probability of Intercept (LPI) and Low Probability of Detection (LPD) waveforms and practices.
• Familiarity with Advanced Communications and Networking system development, integration, test, procurement, and sustainment, as well as Information Exchange Requirements (IERs), Network Centric Warfare, and Communications/Networking Subsystem integration into the overall Weapon System.
• Ability to lead Government and industry teams in the development of system requirements verification matrix, technical plans, design reviews, test reviews, technical assessments, etc.

- Support and advise on multiple technology development efforts from concept ideation through product delivery, to include: systems risk reduction, development, and integration which includes requirements definition/refinement, risk management, and the evaluation of functional, logical, and physical architectures/interfaces.
- Develop technical briefings and communicate complex technical content effectively to a wide range of audiences, including senior leaders, external partners, and program equity holders.
- Assist Acquisition Program Managers by documenting and communicating issues, risks, and solutions to the customer and contract management structure as needed.
Qualifications:
- 20+ years of experience with military Radio Frequency communication systems development, test, and fielding.
- Proven experience with Department of War data communication systems, infrastructure, and organizations.
- Demonstrated success in relationship management and acting as a liaison between technical teams, senior leadership, and external partners.
- Excellent spoken, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with an ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a related degree from an accredited institution, or a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience.
Clearance Requirements:
- Current TS (SCI & SAP eligibility required); an active TS/SCI clearance is desired. Subject to a Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph, U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
