About This Role
A Salesforce Developer is needed to support a federal program in Washington, DC. This fully onsite role focuses on designing, developing, and enhancing Salesforce applications in a secure environment. An active Secret clearance is required on day one.
Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and customize Salesforce applications, components, and integrations.
• Build Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWCs), Visualforce pages, and automation flows.
• Configure Salesforce objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, and security settings.
• Develop and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, or ETL tools.
• Support platform upgrades, releases, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot issues, ensure data integrity, and maintain documentation.
• Work within Agile or iterative development environments.
Required Qualifications
• Active Secret clearance (TS preferred)
• 3+ years of Salesforce development experience.
• Proficiency with Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, and Salesforce configuration.
• Experience with Salesforce integrations and API development.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce security, sharing models, and best practices.
• Ability to work onsite in Washington, DC.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification.
• Experience supporting federal agencies or secure environments.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Git, Copado, or Gearset.
• Experience with Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, or custom application development.
