Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or Optics
- U.S. Citizenship
- Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
Desired Skills:
- Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance or TS//SCI
- Previous experience in low observables (LO), survivability, or susceptibility
- Experience with radar cross section reduction (RCSR) or radio-frequency (RF) antenna design/integration
- Expertise in LO modeling and predictions: Computational electromagnetics (CEM), Hybrid Finite Element, Boundary Integral method (FE-BI), Method of Moments (MoM), Xpatch, SENTRi, HFSS, CST Microwave Studio, FDTD
- Experience with LO integration / multi-discipline air vehicle systems design
- Knowledge of RADAR, RF materials, RF material measurements
- Programming with C/C++, Java, Fortran, Matlab, Python
- CAD software literacy for model cleanup and meshing

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $93,200 - $164,450. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

- Execute and analyze vehicle signature predictions using Unix-based tools and develop scripts for batch processing.
- Plan and conduct laboratory measurements of material properties, including post-processing and clear reporting of results.
- Design, model, fabricate, and test advanced electromagnetic metamaterials for signature reduction.
- Develop, test, and maintain signature prediction algorithms utilizing Python, C++, C#, Java, and Fortran.
- Lead R&D initiatives to create novel low-observable solutions for complex aircraft survivability challenges.
