SPA is seeking a Sr. Pricing Analyst responsible for defining, developing, evaluating, and overseeing the implementation of pricing models and strategies designed to optimize revenue, market share, and elevate divisional profits. The position will be located at SPA's HQ offices in Alexandria, Virginia.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
  • Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends.
  • Builds partnerships with Business Development, Finance, and DL/GL to correctly position and establish pricing programs aligned with strategies and revenue recognition requirements.
  • Acts as mentor and adviser to DL/GL leaders as well as staff members to establish critical project milestones, related activities and schedule constraints.
  • Monitors the ongoing business environment to ensure competitive pricing/market position and directs the development and analysis of pricing models and projections.
  • Oversees the implementation of pricing proposals across the organization.
  • Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
  • Follows processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
  • Must participate in and prepare for strategy and pricing meetings.
  • Must be competent in software programs such as Microsoft Office, Excel, etc.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• BA or BS degree in business or related field; plus a minimum of seven (5-7) years of directly relevant experience
• Strong background and understanding of government contracts
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively
• Detail oriented, organized and highly motivated
• Ability to manage time effectively
• US citizenship is required
