We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Strategic & Technical Advisor to provide comprehensive technical, strategic, and administrative support. This role supports high-priority strategic technology initiatives and ensures effective planning, coordination, workforce development, and interagency collaboration aligned with mission objectives. The ideal candidate brings deep subject matter expertise in strategic technologies, national security environments, and defense policy, along with the ability to operate effectively in senior-level, cross-organizational settings.

Responsibilities:
- Provide expert analysis to inform long-term strategies for protecting high-priority strategic technologies and capabilities.
- Assess competitor nation military-industrial developments and forecast emerging trends.
- Analyze global security trends impacting strategic technology environments.
- Advise on areas of competition and cooperation between the United States, allies, partners, and strategic competitors.
- Ensure technical rigor and integration of scientific considerations throughout planning and execution activities.
- Serve as a senior advisor to the Chief Science Advisor, evaluating sensitive strategic capabilities using structured analytic techniques.
- Translate senior-level guidance into actionable policies and implementation plans.
- Interface with key stakeholders across government, operational commands, industry, and academia to coordinate requirements and initiatives.
- Establish and maintain cross-functional working groups to support planning, approvals, and integration efforts.
- Review existing and emerging strategies to identify integration gaps and develop recommendations for operational, policy, or resource adjustments.
- Apply knowledge of defense acquisition and regulatory frameworks (e.g., DoD 5000 series) to guide capability integration.
- Develop and implement strategic workforce initiatives, including university and internship partnership programs.
- Support education and training councils in developing policy, curriculum, and professional development initiatives.
- Research and evaluate innovative training models to address workforce capability gaps.
- Create and execute engagement plans for academic, training, and internship partnerships.
- Maintain repositories of best practices and lessons learned to strengthen enterprise-wide talent development.
- Provide executive-level administrative and operational support to the Chief Science Advisor's office.
- Manage high-level correspondence, document tracking, travel coordination, and compliance processes.
- Coordinate interagency initiatives and maintain awareness of policy developments impacting mission objectives.
- Identify and engage appropriate analysts and subject matter experts to support sensitive strategic initiatives.

Required Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in science, engineering, national security studies, public policy, or related field.
- Ability to obtain TS/SCI.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic analysis, defense policy, or technology protection.
- Experience supporting senior government or defense leadership.
- Knowledge of defense acquisition and regulatory frameworks.
- Strong analytical, writing, and stakeholder coordination skills.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with structured analytic techniques (SATs).
- Background in interagency coordination or military/defense environments.
- Experience developing workforce training or education initiatives.
