Position Overview:
• Seeking Airframe Structures Design Engineer to support the Aerospace and defense programs in Fort Worth, Texas.
• The selected candidate will apply advanced technical expertise to develop and implement solutions for complex aircraft structural design challenges.
• This role requires strong collaboration within Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and interaction with suppliers to ensure successful design execution and program delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, create, and/or modify primary and secondary structural components, assemblies, installations, and interface control models/documents.
• Contribute to the development, analysis, testing, and validation of aircraft structural designs.
• Support the creation of system requirements, trade studies, Statements of Work (SOW), and test plans.
• Collaborate closely with internal Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and coordinate with external IPTs and suppliers as required.
• Ensure compliance with program requirements, engineering standards, and configuration management processes.
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in armament integration (including one or more of the following: external stores, fuel tanks, pylons, or pods).
• Minimum 5 years of recent experience in aircraft structural design.
• Minimum 5 years of experience using CATIA V5.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the creation and/or modification of primary and secondary structural parts, assemblies, installations, and interface control models/documents.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years of experience working with Product Data Management (PDM) systems.
