This role will support the design, implementation, and optimization of secure, scalable collaboration and content
Key Responsibilities:
SharePoint Architecture & Administration
- Design, implement, and support SharePoint environments (e.g., Microsoft SharePoint, SharePoint Online).
- Assist in defining governance, taxonomy, and information architecture.
- Support migrations, upgrades, and modernization initiatives.
- Monitor performance and assist with optimization and high availability configurations.
- Support backup and disaster recovery planning.
- Configure and manage publishing portals, intranet/extranet sites, and enterprise content management solutions.
- Implement content types, workflows, page layouts, and publishing features.
- Support structured publishing workflows and content lifecycle management.
- Ensure compliance with organizational content standards.
- Support integration with Active Directory.
- Configure authentication methods (NTLM, Kerberos, SAML, OAuth).
- Implement and maintain role-based access control (RBAC) models.
- Assist with identity synchronization and hybrid identity setups when applicable.
- Configure and troubleshoot Domain Name System (DNS) records related to SharePoint environments.
- Support SSL certificate configuration and name resolution.
- Troubleshoot connectivity and network-related issues.
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams on load balancing and proxy configurations.
- Apply SharePoint and infrastructure security best practices.
- Assist with security reviews and compliance initiatives.
- Maintain secure configuration standards.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation.
- Provide Tier 3 support and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with developers, administrators, and business stakeholders.
- Participate in architecture discussions and technical planning sessions.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience with SharePoint architecture and administration.
- Experience implementing SharePoint publishing solutions.
- Working knowledge of Active Directory and group-based security.
- Understanding of DNS fundamentals and enterprise networking basics.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and hybrid environments.
- Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U.S. citizenship status.

- Microsoft 365, SharePoint, or Azure certifications.
- Experience with hybrid identity solutions.
- Exposure to load balancing and reverse proxy solutions.
- Experience supporting mid-to-large enterprise environments.
