MTSI is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Systems Security Engineer (SSE) to provide leadership and expertise to the AFLCMC Cyber Resiliency Office for Weapons Systems (CROWS), Cyber Resiliency Support Team (CRST) and the Aircraft Cyber Technical Working Group (ACTWG) to champion the integration of advanced security practices. The SSE will develop, and institute standardized modeling and architecture for cybersecurity tools and practices across the US Air Force. The SSE will co-chair a modeling and architecture working group that is integral to the CROWS mission in standardizing cyber resiliency in platforms, weapons systems and applications. The SSE will be responsible for collaboration and coordination of these practices and standards and ensure they are implemented and maintained in USAF weapons systems throughout their lifecycle.
This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance. This position is 100% on-site with limited ability to telework.

Responsibilities:
Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:
• Serve as Co-Chair for the Weapons Systems Architecture and Modeling Working Group (WSAM)
• Establish the standardization of modeling and architecture across the Department of the Air Force
• Foster a robust collaborative environment, working closely with Aircraft Cyber Technical Working Group members and pivotal industry partners to develop, implement, and align enterprise-wide SSE standards, best practices, and training programs.
• Execute a comprehensive Independent Technical Risk Assessments (ITRAs) to identify and address system vulnerabilities.
• Deliver detailed, actionable recommendations to mitigate identified risks
• Provide continuous refinement of ITRA methodologies and procedures to ensure the highest degree of assessment fidelity.
Qualifications Required:
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Master's degree and 10 years of experience or a bachelor's degree and 18 years of experience.
• Experience as a Cybersecurity Engineer working with US Air Force and other DoD Platform Information Technology.
Even better if you have these desired skills:
• Experience developing and delivering clear written products and high-impact briefings for senior technical and non-technical government leaders.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills; ability to work independently in a dynamic, high-tempo mission environment.
• Ability to formulate and apply mathematical modeling and other optimizing methods to develop and interpret information that assists management with decision making, policy formulation, or other managerial functions.
• Experience supporting data collection and analysis
• Experience supporting classified and/or special access programs.
Clearance Requirements:
• Must possess an active DoD Top Secret (TS) security clearance (with SCI and SAP eligibility)
