Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Sr. Cloud Engineer to support a company focused on delivering cutting-edge cyber and cloud capabilities to the U.S. Space Force. This position is on-site in El Segundo, CA. The Sr. Cloud Engineer will serve as a senior technical leader driving the design, development, and deployment of secure, scalable Service cloud environments.

Responsibilities for the Sr. Cloud Engineer include:
  • Leading full lifecycle software engineering efforts including design, documentation, development, testing, and integration
  • Designing, deploying, and operating AWS cloud resources and cloud-native web applications
  • Developing connectivity solutions between cloud service providers and on-prem networks
  • Preparing technical design documentation, architectures, and specifications
  • Collaborating with application teams to architect cloud environments, automation, and best practices

Required Qualifications for the Sr. Cloud Engineer include:
  • 18+ years of experience with 10+ years designing and operating mesh architectures (AWS, Platform One, Azure, C2S, etc.)
  • Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Helm, Ansible) and automation (Python, PHP)
  • Proven DevSecOps experience and cloud systems administration
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Active TS/SCI Clearanve

Compensation for the Sr. Cloud Engineer includes:
  • Salary Range: $200,000-$220,000 depending on experience
  • Full Benefits Package: PTO, Paid Holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement, Sick leave as required by law
