About the Role
An advanced technology organization developing hardware for mission-critical applications is seeking a hands-on Electronics Integration & Test Technician. This role supports hardware development from prototype builds through final system integration and test.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-reliability environment and enjoys working closely with engineers to build, test, and refine complex electronic and electromechanical systems.
Responsibilities
Assemble complex hardware systems including structural components, circuit card assemblies, harnesses, sensors, and mechanical subassemblies
Interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and bills of materials to execute precise build operations
Build and integrate electrical and mechanical subassemblies prior to final system integration
Perform soldering, cable fabrication, connector termination, torque-controlled fastening, and mechanical integration tasks
Conduct functional testing of subassemblies and full system assemblies
Utilize standard laboratory equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters, and circuit testers
Test and troubleshoot units, components, and assemblies to isolate and resolve issues
Perform surface mount (SMT) component rework and replacement
Apply conformal coating and perform targeted staking on printed circuit board assemblies
Support environmental test preparation, including vibration, thermal vacuum, and EMI/EMC testing
Collaborate with engineering teams to improve manufacturing processes and build reliability
Track and manage hardware inventory to ensure program readiness
Work within ESD-controlled and cleanroom environments
Qualifications
3+ years of experience working with aerospace, defense, space, or other high-reliability electronic hardware
Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics
Proficiency in soldering to industry standards
Experience working with small to mid-sized electrical assemblies and PCBA manufacturing processes
Familiarity with troubleshooting using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other diagnostic equipment
