You will be the Test Engineer Associate Manager responsible for leading Test Engineering activities on multiple programs.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Test Engineer Associate Manager, you will be responsible for
• Leading the team that conducts failure analysis activities, yield trending, software and hardware change maintenance, corrective action development and implementation, capital project planning and execution.
• Responsible for performance management of Test Engineers deployed within the assigned mission areas.
• Assists Test Engineering site lead in talent selection, determining department personnel work assignments, and execution of functional initiatives.
• Coaches and mentors junior engineers within the department.
• Contributes to the execution of Test Engineering tasks as required to meet program and department objectives.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology.
• Experienced production Test Engineer.
• ≥ 5 years of progressive experience in electrical-manufacturing test environments, including test development and production line support.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance.
Desired Skills:
• Proven leadership - experience directing engineering teams (formal or informal), assigning daily tasks, and mentoring/coaching junior talent; can lead recruitment or development initiatives.
• Strong project-management background, with a track record of delivering test-program schedules, budgets, and risk-mitigation plans on time.
• Expertise in test-automation and instrumentation: proficient with NI tools (LabVIEW, LabWindows CVI, TestStand), C/C++ programming, and common COTS test equipment; familiar with WINDCHILL, APRISO, SAP, and related systems.
• Deep knowledge of electronic components and test hardware; able to interpret test requirements, analyze electrical results, perform detailed failure analysis, and drive root-cause corrective actions.
• Six-Sigma Green Belt (trained or certified) and continuous-improvement mindset; skilled at implementing process optimizations and corrective-action plans.
• Excellent communicator and collaborator-adept at presenting technical data to senior leadership, fostering cross-functional teamwork, and managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
