Description:This position is responsible for developing and executing the international sustainment strategy to maximize growth outcomes globally. The candidate will be responsible for leading key, critical GBDS international sustainment activities and leading coordination to deliver on the OneLM regional sustainment strategy. In addition, The GBDS Director of International Sustainment will achieve customer satisfaction through the development of strategic solutions to drive cross-LM consolidated regional sustainment strategies through the use of existing LM assets, drive partnerships / consortiums / ventures, and leverage international footprint. This Director whilst reporting to the VP Global Sustainment, will be dotted line the newly formed Executive Sustainment Board (ESB), and will also work closely with the sustainment experts across the Business Areas.

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Responsible for integrating cross BA international sustainment capture, in partnership with the ESB and BA's
• Provide direct guidance and support for an integrated Industrial Development across BAs where we maximize our ID funding to advance an integrated sustainment offering or in ways sustainment can bolster a platform sale.
• Assess, evaluate, and facilitate process improvement efforts to maximize partnership and /or investment outcomes
• Interface with ESB, programs, functions and suppliers to ensure fulfilment of needs, achievement of customer satisfaction, and growth in the line of business
• Support the program Sustainment functional operations across GBDS internationally
• Drive full lifecycle capture management, including opportunity identification, qualification, bid/no-bid decision processes, and proposal development.
• Develop and execute strategic business and marketing plans aligned with corporate growth objectives.
• Manage high-value, complex negotiations with global government entities and defense organizations.
• Lead financial forecasting, pipeline management, and revenue growth initiatives.
• Support and expand aftermarket programs and lifecycle support opportunities.
• Develop and manage channel partnerships and supplier relationships to strengthen global market positioning.
• Present and brief executive leadership, board members, and high-level international government officials.

Key Business Objectives:

• Fully support and assist the Vice President of Global Sustainment in implementing an international Sustainment strategy that supports growth throughout the regions
• Facilitate discussions as OneLM, across functions and BAs to help shape strategic partnerships and / or investments
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives in the identification of their requirements, seeking full-range business solutions for new and existing relationships

Basic Qualifications:
• Significant experience in sustainment, program management, engineering, or a related field, with a proven track record of business growth and leading large, complex programs or initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve goals through influencing, partnering and developing productive relationships with senior leadership and BA / function / matrixed organizations
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, engendering trust and sustained relationships in a global setting
• Demonstrated knowledge in business, political, economic, and international government affairs
• Experience in presenting complex strategies and information to peers and senior executives
• Ability to motivate others by demonstrating integrity, respect, commitment, creativity, transparency, excellent performance, and confidence
• Past experience working directly with senior officials and C-Suite executives
• Demonstrated leadership in business/industry councils
• High ethical standards and social competencies; open, honest, trustworthy and approachable; a relationship builder
• Demonstrated experience working with business, political and economics in the Middle East
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $180,000 - $287,500. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $180,000 - $345,000. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
