Job Description

As a Security Officer - Clearance Required Driver in Saint Louis, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading aero and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and stay visible to help deter security-related incidents. As a driving post, you may use a vehicle to move between checkpoints and respond to calls for assistance. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to location personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities.
• Control access to aviation and defense manufacturing and office areas by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, and/or coordinating required sign-in and sign-out processes.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production spaces, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting events and notifying site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
• Support special access requirements by monitoring restricted areas, coordinating approved escorts for visitors and contractors, and/or completing required logs and reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
• Maintain an active DoD Secret clearance.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
