Job Description

As a Security Officer - Security Clearance Command Center in Saint Louis, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer at an aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, support access control, and deliver strong customer service and communication to team members and visitors. You will represent a company that is agile, reliable, and innovative, with a caring culture built on teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control requirements, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, reporting conditions to the appropriate contacts and documenting actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, production areas, and/or perimeter locations, observing for unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
• Verify identification, badges, and/or visitor authorizations at designated entry points, and assist with visitor management processes in accordance with site policies.
• Complete required reports such as daily activity logs, incident reports, and/or inspection checklists, and communicate relevant information during shift turnovers.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
