We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support project management and operational coordination activities within the Enterprise Messaging, Collaboration, Authentication, and Office 365 (EMCAO) program in a large Federal enterprise environment. This role provides planning, scheduling, reporting, stakeholder coordination, and governance support across EMCAO service areas. The Project Manager works closely with technical leads and Government stakeholders to ensure alignment with contractual objectives, service level expectations, and operational performance standards.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Support overall project management activities across EMCAO task areas.
• Coordinate project schedules, work plans, milestones, and deliverables.
• Track performance metrics and service level adherence across project service areas.
• Facilitate risk identification, issue tracking, and mitigation planning.
• Prepare recurring project status reports and briefings for Government stakeholders.
• Support configuration, change, and release governance processes to ensure structured service delivery.
• Coordinate documentation management and ensure required deliverables are submitted accurately and on time.
• Assist in managing high-priority incident communications and stakeholder updates.
• Monitor staffing plans, resource allocations, and task assignments to support operational objectives.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend enhancements to project workflows.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
• 5+ years of relevant IT experience, including project coordination or project management within enterprise environments.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 or enterprise collaboration initiatives.
• Experience tracking schedules, deliverables, risks, and performance metrics.
• Familiarity with service level agreements and operational performance management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills suitable for executive and technical audiences.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and coordination skills.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS DESIRED:
• Experience working with Federal agencies, particularly the Department of Veterans Affairs, is a plus.
• Exposure to large-scale enterprise collaboration or cloud-based service environments.
• Project Management Professional (PMP), CAPM, or equivalent certification preferred.
EDUCATION:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
CLEARANCE:
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
