Description of Duties:
Position Title: Collaboration Engineer
Location: Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO or Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL
Relocation Assistance: None available at this time

Clearance Type: DoD Secret
Shift: Day shift – Primary duty hours are 0800-1600 M-F with periodic evening work to support system patching.
Travel Required: Up to 10% of the time
The Collaboration Engineer supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:
• Support the operation and maintenance of a large Exchange 2016 and Microsoft 365 environment for the MDA
• Be responsible for daily operation and maintenance activities as well as assisting in the determination of future needs and direction for collaboration services
• Be required to interface with collaboration services customers and peers in other service areas to resolve issues and meet mission requirements
• Be responsible for supporting Change, Incident and Problem Management
Primary duty hours are 0800-1600 M-F with periodic evening work to support system patching.
The successful candidate will:
• Have strong troubleshooting skills and in-depth knowledge of Exchange 2016, Teams, Exchange online and other Microsoft 365 applications and functions.
• Be able to adapt to new situations
• Have a strong commitment to a team environment
• Have the capacity to work with little supervision
• Have the willingness to learn new technologies

Qualifications - External
Basic Requirements:
• Must have 6, or more, years of general (full-time) work experience
o May be reduced with completion of advanced education
• Must have 3, or more, years of directly related experience
• Must have strong experience configuring, operating and maintaining Microsoft 356 environment.
• Must have experience with scripting (e.g., PowerShell)
• Must have a sound understanding of Windows 2008/2016, Exchange 2010/2016, Lync, Blackberry Enterprise Server, TCP/IP, DNS, and Active Directory
• Must have an active DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification (e.g. enrolled in Continuing Education (CE) with a Security+ certification.)
• Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance
Desired Requirements:
• Be familiar with virtualization technologies, such as VMware experience with journaling and e-mail archive/compliance solutions
This position is expected to pay $110,000 – $130,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
