Purpose:
- Valkyrie Enterprises has need for a Senior Model-Based Systems Engineer in Huntsville, AL.
- In this role you will provide senior technical and advisory assistance to the Targets Program Office by aiding in the refinement and implementation of MBSE design standards across a portfolio of products.
Job Description:
- Serve as architect for implementation of the Government Reference Architecture MBSE solution across the Targets Program office
- Author process documents, develop template frameworks, and construct metric reporting methods to facilitate the execution of the MBSE solution to existing and future programs
- Use requirements analysis to create and maintain the (GRA) in Cameo
- Perform and lead systems engineering duties to elicit stakeholder requirements and mission needs
- Perform functional analysis using Model-based Systems Engineering techniques and tools
- Define requirements, perform functional analysis using Model-based Systems Engineering techniques and tools
Qualifications:
- Must have a Bachelor's degree with 20+ years of working on missile defense-related or other DoD programs/projects OR a Master's degree and 12+ years working on missile defense-related or other DoD programs/projects Experience with Cameo SysML
- Must have expert Knowledge of Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE), preferably with direct experience working DoD Systems.
- Must have the ability to train others on MBSE concepts and tools.
- Must have experience with languages used for architecture modeling (i.e. DoD Architecture Framework and (Unified Architecture Framework (UAF)).
Desired Qualifications:
- Familiarity with MDA programs and processes, preferred.
- Experience with missiles, targets, missile defense systems or hypersonic weapons, preferred.
- Hands-on experience with integrated requirements tools, such as DOORs NG, preferred.
- Exposure to MDA test events and activities, preferred.
Security Requirements:
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must have an Active Secret Security clearance, and the ability to maintain clearance.
Travel Requirements:
- Minimal Travel; 10% or less
- If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID.
