Purpose:

• Valkyrie Enterprises has need for a Senior Model-Based Systems Engineer in Huntsville, AL.
• In this role you will provide senior technical and advisory assistance to the Targets Program Office by aiding in the refinement and implementation of MBSE design standards across a portfolio of products.

Job Description:

• Serve as architect for implementation of the Government Reference Architecture MBSE solution across the Targets Program office
• Author process documents, develop template frameworks, and construct metric reporting methods to facilitate the execution of the MBSE solution to existing and future programs
• Use requirements analysis to create and maintain the (GRA) in Cameo
• Perform and lead systems engineering duties to elicit stakeholder requirements and mission needs
• Perform functional analysis using Model-based Systems Engineering techniques and tools
• Define requirements, perform functional analysis using Model-based Systems Engineering techniques and tools

Qualifications:

• Must have a Bachelor's degree with 20+ years of working on missile defense-related or other DoD programs/projects OR a Master's degree and 12+ years working on missile defense-related or other DoD programs/projects Experience with Cameo SysML
• Must have expert Knowledge of Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE), preferably with direct experience working DoD Systems.
• Must have the ability to train others on MBSE concepts and tools.
• Must have experience with languages used for architecture modeling (i.e. DoD Architecture Framework and (Unified Architecture Framework (UAF)).

Desired Qualifications:

• Familiarity with MDA programs and processes, preferred.
• Experience with missiles, targets, missile defense systems or hypersonic weapons, preferred.
• Hands-on experience with integrated requirements tools, such as DOORs NG, preferred.
• Exposure to MDA test events and activities, preferred.

Security Requirements:

• Must be a US Citizen
• Must have an Active Secret Security clearance, and the ability to maintain clearance.

Travel Requirements:

• Minimal Travel; 10% or less
• If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID. Physical Requirements:

• Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods
• Able to sit and work on a computer for long periods of time
