As an Armed Patrol Officer at an aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a highly visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and visitor interactions. You will document activities, communicate clearly with site teams, and respond to alarms or unusual activity with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to all personnel and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures, identification requirements, and security-related policies at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of assigned areas, including interior spaces, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems as assigned, and communicate observations and status updates to the appropriate contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating emergency response activities and coordinating with local responders when required.
• Complete detailed reports on patrols, incidents, and irregularities, and maintain accurate logs in accordance with site requirements and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card/license is required.
• An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
