HX5 is currently seeking an Executive Support Technician to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract at the Redstone Arsenal, in Alabama.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide support to general customers and Senior Executive Service members, General Officers, Flag Officers, Military Officers at the O-5 rank or higher and Federal Civil Servants.
• Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot computer systems.
• Provide remote and onsite troubleshooting support for break-fix issues.
• Provide mission, test, event, and conference support.
• Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot mobile devices
• Provide escalation and status updates to MDA customers
• Provide technical support for enterprise projects
• Resolve daily battle rhythm tasks
• Provide printer support
• Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot software applications
• Provide limited PKI support
• Provide a rotation of on-call support
• Mentor team members to promote technical growth
• Promote a positive work environment
• Communicate written and verbal situational awareness to management and government leadership in a concise professional manner

Education and Experience:

• Must have 10, or more, years of general (full-time) work experience
  • May be reduced with completion of advanced education
• Must have 6 years of related experience in relevant business systems, operating systems, and servers and/or experience in light programming, project management of small initiatives, and troubleshooting.
• Must have experience working in a customer-facing role
• Must have a current DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II certification such as CompTIA security+ CE or higher
• Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance

Desired Requirement:

• Have 3 years of experience working in a management or leadership role
• Have an ITILv3 foundation certification
• Have experience supporting senior executives and military officers at the O-5 rank or higher

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours.

Other Position Requirements:

• Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
• Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
• Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance by date of hire.
• Must be able to travel, including air travel 10% of the time.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
