Piper Companies is seeking a Teammate Relations Consultant to join a rapidly growing healthcare organization. This is a fully remote, short-term contract opportunity supporting the Teammate Relations function within the HR team. The Teammate Relations Consultant will serve as a subject matter expert on investigations, policy interpretation, and compliance, partnering closely with HR Business Partners, Legal, and other HR Centers of Excellence. This role is critical to delivering an equitable, consistent, and high-quality teammate relations experience across the enterprise.

Responsibilities of the Teammate Relations Consultant:
- Conduct impartial, end-to-end investigations involving complex teammate relations issues with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Deliver written findings, recommendations, and outcomes with clarity, accuracy, and adherence to organizational policies.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in teammate relations policies, ensuring consistent interpretation across all departments.
- Partner with COEs on leave of absence, workers' compensation, compliance, and policy-related issues; provide informed recommendations to HR Business Partners and leaders.
- Use data and trends to identify hotspots and recommend proactive training or educational programs.
- Support policy interpretation, policy updates, and compliance activities including audits and documentation.
- Collaborate with Legal and Compliance on cross-functional issues and shared initiatives.
- Remain current on changes to federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Continuously refine teammate relations processes and procedures to enhance the teammate experience.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications for the Teammate Relations Consultant:
- BA/BS degree preferred.
- 5+ years of Human Resources, Teammate Relations, or Employee Relations experience.
- Strong experience conducting workplace investigations and delivering findings.
- Ability to manage highly sensitive and confidential matters with discretion.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, ServiceNow, iCIMS, and UltiPro preferred.
Compensation for the Teammate Relations Consultant:
- $40/hr
- Remote position
- Short-term contract assignment
