Position Overview
• Seeking an experienced RF Engineer to join our Chelmsford, Massachusetts campus. This position offers a dynamic work environment that combines advanced RF design with hands-on laboratory testing and production support.
• The selected candidate will be a key contributor within a team of industry-leading RF engineers, supporting complex, high-reliability, multi-function RF modules across all phases of the product lifecycle.
• Applicants must be eligible for access to classified information and will be subject to a government security investigation.
Key Responsibilities
• Support production and lifecycle activities for complex multi-function RF modules used in high-reliability applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve RF design and integration issues within a manufacturing environment.
• Provide innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.
• Work independently to identify and resolve implementation issues in operational products.
• Perform hands-on hardware testing, validation, and debugging.
• Utilize RF/microwave test equipment and simulation tools to analyze system performance.
• Lead and support failure investigations and corrective action efforts.
• Collaborate with hardware, systems, and circuit design engineers, as well as manufacturing and technical support teams.
• Interface with customers and deliver technical presentations as required.
Basic Qualifications
• Active Secret Clearance required at start.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred, or STEM degree with 5+ years of relevant professional engineering experience.
• Experience troubleshooting RF designs and resolving integration issues in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on hardware experience.
• Experience using RF/microwave test equipment and microwave simulation tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Desired Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
• Experience in the defense electronics industry.
• Expertise with RF subsystems and hardware, including: Antennas, Transmitters and receivers, Microwave components, Low-noise amplifiers (LNA), High-power amplifiers (HPA), Mixers, switches, and frequency generation/conversion circuits
• Experience with microelectronics assembly techniques.
• Proficiency with technical documentation including specifications, schematics, and test data.
• Prior RF design experience.
• Experience leading production failure investigations.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-based manufacturing and engineering environment.
