Position Overview
• The Systems Integration & Test Engineer is responsible for planning, implementing, testing, documenting, and maintaining integration and test solutions for in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, subsystems, and systems.
• This role translates customer contractual requirements into comprehensive system-level test solutions while balancing technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
• The selected candidate will support full system lifecycle integration and verification activities, ensuring validated performance and compliance with program requirements.

Key Responsibilities
• Plan, implement, document, and maintain integration and test solutions for components, subsystems, and systems.
• Translate customer contractual requirements into executable system-level test strategies.
• Establish functional and technical specifications and standards.
• Resolve hardware/software interface issues and define input/output parameters.
• Develop and execute comprehensive system and subsystem test plans, procedures, and schedules.
• Review and derive requirements for testability.
• Coordinate system and subsystem testing activities across programs and organizations.
• Analyze test results and prepare detailed evaluation reports verifying and validating system performance.
• Generate discrepancy reports and conduct regression testing to validate corrective actions.
• Support milestone-driven program execution and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent professional-level experience).
• 5+ years of experience using Microsoft Office to develop status reports, project plans, and work instructions.
• 5+ years of experience developing, editing, and supporting software using LabVIEW.
• 3+ years of experience developing and supporting software using NI TestStand.
• 3+ years of experience analyzing and resolving technical issues.
• Experience managing and prioritizing multiple concurrent tasks.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working effectively within team environments.
• Ability to work with minimal direction to achieve objectives.
• Experience leading or supporting teams to meet program milestones.

Desired Qualifications
• 9+ years of professional-level technical experience.
• Subject matter expertise in Radio Frequency (RF) or Microwave systems and subsystems (5+ years preferred).
• Experience implementing methods to measure electrical parameters for components and subassemblies.
• 3+ years of experience developing complex test programs within NI TestStand environments.
• Experience researching and specifying components for test equipment design.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and isolate measurement issues to instrumentation, fixturing, software, or unit-under-test level.
• Proficiency in generating engineering documentation, including assembly drawings, block diagrams, and parts lists.
• Experience with Corrective and Preventative Action (CAPA) processes.
• Strong background in deriving test requirements from system or design-level requirements.
• Ability to identify and document discrepancies between hardware and engineering drawings.
• Proven collaboration across multidisciplinary teams and organizations.
• Experience preparing and delivering technical presentations, trade studies, and solution briefings.
