Help
  • You will lead and oversee the execution of the F-35 and other Blue virtual platform Verification, Validation, and Accreditation (VVandA) activities in coordination with the Accreditation Team.
  • You will optimize data collection and testing processes to ensure efficient and effective support for data analysis and the compilation and review of data packages.
  • You will provide regular input to the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to keep program management informed of adherence to plan, schedule changes, and resultant impacts.
  • You will document, track, and manage the verification of fixes for software issues and deficiencies that impact the accuracy of data collection.
  • You will support the compilation, delivery, and review of the Accreditation Support Package (ASP).
  • You will maintain contact and attend meetings with other departments/DoD activities, as well as with representatives of other countries, keeping fully informed of the latest activities and technical advancements.
  • You will assign tasks, generally in broad terms as to the objectives to be met and consideration for coordination, and when necessary, advise on applicability of technical data and methods of analysis that may assist in completing assigned work.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications

FOR THE DP-05 POSITION :
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialist experience at or equivalent to the (GS-13) grade level or pay band (DP-04) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

1) Reviewing technical assessments, analyzing sensor performance, analyzing platform mission performance, analyzing live and simulation data, and reviewing statistical comparisons between real and simulated systems;
2) Coordinating project planning with program sponsors and managing the allocation of funding;
3) Ensuring security compliance, contracting coordination, procurement and management of IT hardware and software as well as other equipment to facilitate effective and efficient work;
4) Directing the work of other analysts, engineers, and data scientists assigned to a team; and
5) Coordinating efforts of various laboratories and test facilities to ensure project goals are achieved on time and within budget.

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialist experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) grade level or pay band (DP-03) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

1) Reviewing technical assessments, analyzing sensor performance, analyzing platform mission performance, analyzing live and simulation data, and reviewing statistical comparisons between real and simulated systems;
2) Assisting with coordinating project planning with program sponsors and managing the allocation of funding;

4) Coordinating efforts of various laboratories and test facilities to ensure project goals are achieved on time and within budget.

Education

Applicants must meet the following positive education qualifications requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual: Applicants must possess:

A. I have a bachelor's or higher degree in operations research.

OR

B. I have successfully completed a bachelor's or higher degree with at least 24 semester hours in a combination of operations research, mathematics, probability, statistics, mathematical logic, science, or subject-matter courses requiring substantial competence in college-level mathematics or statistics and at least 3 of the 24 semester hours are in calculus.
