Data Systems Analysts, Inc. is seeking a Web Designer/Web Content Analyst to support the design, development, and implementation of web solutions for the Army Resource Cloud (ARC) environment The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and integrating web pages, applications, and databases to enhance the Army's internet presence and ensure seamless functionality across platforms. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop innovative site concepts, apply emerging technologies, and ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity standards and best practices.

Required Qualifications
  • Active or Current DOD Secret Clearance
  • Current Security + Certification
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a relevant field is required.
  • Must have 6 to 10 years of IT and business/industry experience, demonstrating a solid background in web design, development, and content management,
  • Proficient in web design and development, including integrating web pages, applications, and databases.
  • Skilled in applying emerging technologies to the site development process, ensuring the web presence is modern, functional, and user-friendly.
  • Worked within the Army Resource Cloud (ARC) and has an understanding of supporting applications operable in the Cloud.

Desired Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Army Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) systems is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of DoD cybersecurity requirements, including compliance with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA), is preferred to ensure secure web development practices.
  • Knowledge of user experience (UX) design principles and tools is beneficial to create intuitive and visually appealing web interfaces that enhance user engagement and satisfaction.
  • Any additional certifications related to Web Design/Web Content Analyst desired.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement customer requirements for internet web presence, including integrating web pages, applications, and databases to serve as stand-alone sites or as the front end to web-based applications.
  • Work closely with graphic designers, project teams, and stakeholders to develop site concepts, interface designs, and architecture that align with customer needs and organizational goals.
  • Apply new and emerging technologies to the site development process, ensuring compatibility, functionality, and adherence to industry best practices and DoD standards.
  • Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design concepts and page layouts to stakeholders.
  • Ensure responsive design and cross‑browser compatibility so websites function correctly on desktops, tablets, and mobile devices.
  • Analyze website content performance using metrics such as traffic, engagement, click‑through rate (CTR), and user behavior.
  • Develop recommendations for content improvements based on data analysis, trends, and user engagement patterns
  • Prepare reports and dashboards summarizing content performance, insights, and recommended actions for stakeholders.
  • Focus on user experience (UX) to ensure websites are intuitive, accessible, and effective.
