THE OPPORTUNITY This is a unique opportunity for an experienced EW Sensor Systems Engineer to contribute to highly specialized and impactful projects within a collaborative Integrated Product Team. You will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and integration of advanced sensor systems, directly influencing the capabilities of defensive electronic warfare. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Design, develop, and integrate Multi-Spectral Defensive Electronic Warfare Systems. * Conduct in-depth analysis of EW sensor system performance and identify areas for improvement. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications. * Perform system-level testing and validation to ensure compliance with operational requirements. * Develop and implement algorithms for signal processing and data analysis in EW applications. * Provide technical expertise and guidance on EW sensor technologies and capabilities. * Document design specifications, test plans, and analysis reports comprehensively. * Participate in design reviews and technical interchange meetings with stakeholders. * Support the entire system lifecycle from concept to deployment and sustainment. * Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence within the team. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field. * Minimum of 3 years of experience in Electronic Warfare (EW) sensor systems engineering. * Proven experience with Multi-Spectral Defensive Electronic Warfare Systems. * Strong understanding of RF principles, signal processing, and sensor technologies. * Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance. * Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline. * Experience with specific EW system development tools and software (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink, LabVIEW). * Knowledge of radar systems, IR systems, and other electromagnetic spectrum technologies. * Experience working in a defense contractor environment. * Familiarity with Department of Defense acquisition processes and standards. WORK ENVIRONMENT This is an onsite position located in Point Mugu, CA, offering a structured, long-term Navy contract environment. The team operates on a 9/80 work schedule, providing every other Friday off, promoting a healthy work-life balance. This role emphasizes a close-knit, highly collaborative team dynamic where a heads-down technical personality who thrives in an agile setting will excel. The work is structured, but engineers are empowered with autonomy while also receiving necessary guidance. Please note that relocation assistance is not available for this position. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000 annually. In addition to a competitive salary, the company offers a comprehensive benefits package consistent with a leading defense contractor, including health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
