KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Design, develop, and implement advanced machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex intelligence problems. * Conduct in-depth statistical analysis and data mining to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies within large datasets. * Develop and maintain robust data-driven solutions that support intelligence operations and decision-making. * Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications. * Evaluate and select appropriate data science methodologies and tools for specific projects. * Present complex analytical findings and insights clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences. * Contribute to the entire data science lifecycle, from data collection and preprocessing to model deployment and monitoring. * Stay current with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, applying relevant innovations to ongoing projects. * Ensure data integrity, quality, and security throughout all data science initiatives. * Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior data scientists as needed. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field. * 5+ years of experience in data science, with a strong focus on machine learning, statistical analysis, and artificial intelligence. * Proven expertise in developing and deploying advanced algorithms. * Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R. * Experience working with large, complex datasets and various data manipulation techniques. * Active FS_Poly clearance. * Demonstrated ability to communicate complex analytical concepts effectively. * Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop). * Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). * Knowledge of deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch). * Experience in the Intelligence Community or defense sector. * Publications or presentations in relevant data science or AI conferences. WORK ENVIRONMENT This is a 100% onsite position located in Ft. Meade, MD. You will be working within a structured, enterprise-like team environment that values technical rigor and direct contribution to mission objectives. The role requires a heads-down technical focus with the ability to effectively communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS The target salary range for this position is up to $190,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
