Our team is seeking a dedicated and experienced Risk Management Framework (RMF) Coordinator III to play a pivotal role in ensuring the robust cybersecurity posture of our critical government systems. This position, based at Fort Meade, MD, is integral to maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information within a dynamic defense contracting environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding systems through the entire RMF lifecycle, from initial authorization to continuous monitoring, ensuring compliance with NIST, DoD, and other relevant security controls and policies. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to national security initiatives by safeguarding vital information infrastructure. The RMF Coordinator III will collaborate closely with system owners, information system security officers (ISSOs), security control assessors (SCAs), and other stakeholders to develop and implement comprehensive security authorization packages. This includes conducting security control assessments, identifying vulnerabilities, recommending mitigation strategies, and documenting security plans of action and milestones (POA&Ms). The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, a meticulous attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to effectively articulate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
