Windows Engineer II

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Windows Engineer II to join our Systems Engineering team at Fort Meade, MD. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in the design, implementation, and maintenance of our critical Windows-based infrastructure, supporting a diverse range of government and defense programs. This position offers a dynamic work environment where your expertise will directly contribute to the stability, security, and efficiency of systems vital to national security. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our IT operations, ensuring high availability and optimal performance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundational understanding of Windows Server operating systems, Active Directory, Group Policy, and virtualization technologies. You will be responsible for administering, monitoring, and optimizing our Windows server environment, including patching, backups, and security configurations.
