the company Inc., a defense contractor, is seeking a Senior Electronic Warfare Subject Matter Expert with 3+ years of experience to work with the F-35 Integrated Product Team (IPT) at NAVAIR Weapons Division, Point Mugu, CA. Serve as Functional and Engineering Subject Matter Expert (SME) for electronic warfare threats, the AN/ALQ 260 self-contained expendable digital radio frequency memory (DRFM) jammer, radar data, and test and evaluation. Core Systems Engineering Functions Requirements Analysis & Management System Architecture Design Specialized Technical Areas EW Payload Integration Cloud engineering Operational & Support Functions Test & Evaluation Countering Electronic Warfare Threats Radar Threat Mitigation Counter-Counter Measures Adaptive Response to Evolving Threats Threat Library Management Integrate intelligence functions to create a feedback loop where systems collect intelligence that improves their own effectiveness while simultaneously supporting broader air warfare operations. Write and update intermediate and final technical documents including system requirements and design specifications/documents, white papers, and engineering notes. Lead project-related meetings (milestone reviews, status, design, etc.), and both host and conduct technical meetings and teleconferences. 25% of the work may be at alternate sites - requiring travel within the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside of the Continental United States (OCONUS). 3-10 years' experience performing the duties described in the responsibilities description 3+ years' electronic warfare experience 3+ years' systems engineering hardware and software experience 3+ years' experience writing and updating system requirements and design specifications/documents, white papers, and engineering notes 3+ years' radar data and threat experience 3+ years' test and evaluation experience Intelligence background and cloud experience s desired Ability to work independently, in a team environment, or lead a small team Working knowledge and use of Microsoft Office suite programs, MS Project, MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint Excellent communication and interpersonal skills-verbal, non-verbal, written, and listening-for staff, customer, and organizational level communications, both formal and informal Education MS or MA degree in Engineering or a relevant technical discipline ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: An additional 4 years of relevant work experience, with a bachelor's degree, may be substituted for a master's degree Clearance Condition of employment - must have and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance. Must be able to obtain a Top Secret Clearance. The applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
