Noblis MSD's mission is to support the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and, Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWCPD) and their missions' to enable research, development, test and evaluation, acquisition, engineering, systems integration, in-service and fleet engineering with cybersecurity, comprehensive logistics, and life-cycle savings. We are looking to hire Inventory Managers to provide engineering, technical, logistics, and obsolescence support to U.S. Navy ships and vessels related to the following systems and equipment: Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) Combat Support Systems for U.S. Navy Surface Ships - both in-service and new construction. and equipment support.

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis' total compensation package.

Responsibilities Include:
- Coordinate and track shipments from government facility to installation activity site
- Organize material for shipment and maintain an organized inventory within lab and for shipboard installation
- Perform inspection of received material prior to transfer to storage or installing activity • Create and maintain DD1149 forms to document all material ownership transitions
- Induct inventory into a computer-based inventory management system and track configuration management control
- Distribute inventory (check in/check out) and materials (receipt/issue)
- Report on and replenish inventory items that are broken or missing • Coordinate digital media for IA scanning and tracking
- Provide recommendations for initiatives related to lean processes and enhancements
- Support data call requests and assist Project Managers and Branch Heads in program review preparations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a Quantitative Field such as engineering or mathematics and three years professional experience in integrated logistics support or
- High School Diploma or Trade/Industrial School Diploma (or GED Equivalent) and/or related military experience and four to seven years of experience as an Engineering Technicial
- Active Secret security clearance and US citizenship required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience coordinating and tracking shipments
- Experience with material inspection and quality control
- Proficiency with inventory management software and systems • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Familiarity with supply chain management principles
- Ability to prioritize tasking and manage time effectively
- Must have a valid US passport or ability to obtain one upon position acceptance
