Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is looking for a Manager of Supply Chain 2 for the Engineering Property System (EPS) Team within the Common Products Organization.

Responsibilities include activities and knowledge within multiple disciplines across the Supply Chain process. The candidate will participates in various aspects of the supply chain process. The manager will exhibit end-to-end supply chain competency and manage a team of Supply Chain Planners and Procurement Specialists. A successful candidate will be driven by execution and strategy, while partnering closely with many cross functional teams to ensure alignment for cost, schedule, quality, and risk avoidance objectives. This role requires managing multiple priorities for many different program and projects in parallel, while maintaining focus on deliverables and compliance. The selected candidate will have the ability to use data analytics and performance metrics to drive predictable planning decisions. This manager role requires leading and developing high-performing teams through clear expectations, continuous feedback, and talent growth initiatives. Exceptional communication skills are essential to navigate this fast-paced environment to ensure stakeholders remain informed and aligned. In addition, the successful candidate will have a proven track record of being detail oriented to ensure proper procurement procedures and best practices are followed.

This position's primary location will be on-site at either our El Segundo, CA or Rancho Bernardo, CA locations working on the 9/80A schedule. Responsibilities include working on-site for 2-3 days weekly as it is critical to our business model to engage with Engineering, Leadership, and Global Supply Chain partners. Programs and team members are located in both El Segundo and Rancho Bernardo so travel between the sites will be necessary based on Program needs and supporting Management's objectives. The best candidate will be able to show positive experiences as a self-motivated and proactive problem solver, who is goal-oriented to grow our support services to align with the ever changing procurement needs for our Research and Development Programs.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience in supply chain, project management, business management and/or business related field OR a Master's Degree with 3 years of experience in supply chain, project management, business management and/or business related field
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years experience leading a team, process, and/or projects
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Power Point, Excel etc.
  • Current active DoD Secret level clearance to apply/start
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Program Special Access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the Company


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Supply Chain, or a related field
  • Current Program Special Access
  • Proven ability to effectively manage competing priorities, deadlines, and multiple tasks in a fast paced environment with a professional attitude
  • Working Knowledge of SAP and EPS
  • Knowledge of FAR and DFAR


Primary Level Salary Range: $133,100.00 - $199,700.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
