Overview:
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to support the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems in overseas facilities. The successful candidate will perform critical technical work in support of mission-critical infrastructure and building systems in secure government or government-contract environments, ensuring equipment reliability and environmental comfort for personnel and operations. Assignments will require international travel and may involve extended periods at overseas locations. Must be familiar with US Embassy/OBO standards for construction.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, startup, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs on commercial and industrial HVAC/R systems including air handlers, chillers, cooling towers, refrigeration units, and associated mechanical components.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant systems using gauges, meters, and specialized diagnostic tools.
- Inspect, test, and calibrate HVAC system components to ensure optimal performance, efficiency, and code compliance.
- Read and interpret technical documentation including wiring diagrams, piping diagrams, specifications, and sequences of operation.
- Coordinate with Building Automation System (BAS) technicians to ensure integration, accurate control logic, and proper system response.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including maintenance logs, system performance records, and trip reports after each assignment.
- Provide training, mentorship, and technical guidance to local staff and subcontractors regarding HVAC system operation and maintenance.
- Adhere to safety procedures and applicable technical standards to prevent accidents or security breaches.
- Complete records, maintains tools and equipment, and performs various clean-up and housekeeping activities.

- Minimum 5 years of HVAC installation experience

- Current OSHA 30
Security Clearance:
Top Secret (TS) Level Required :
- Must have a current US Government Top Secret Personnel Security Clearance or be able to successfully complete a U.S. government administered Investigation.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must also be able to maintain a US Government Top Secret clearance.
