Lockheed Martin Space is hiring a Senior Project Engineer to support the FBM Systems Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) Directorate.
In this a highly visible, dynamic, and impactful role you will routinely interface with SEIT Leadership in support of Staff Development, Employee Recognition, and Program Communications.
The primary focus is to support leadership and staffing initiatives through:
• Participating in leadership strategy sessions
• Supporting mission success through managing business rhythms
• Integrating and Preparing technical presentations
• Providing event preparation in support of Senior Leadership
• Participating in panel discussions, offsite events, and townhalls to synthesize two-way communications
• Assisting with onboarding new talent
• Managing SEIT communications through SharePoint and other internal communication dashboards
To be successful in this role requires the following:
• Budget management and team coordination in support of SEIT program awards and recognition events
• Providing coordinating support for Program all-hands events
• Connecting with team members to support milestone celebrations, conduct skip-level interviews, and engage in ad-hoc team morale activities
Basic Qualifications:
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across stakeholders to drive project success
• Experience evaluating complex data, spotting inconsistencies, and proposing sound solutions
• Experience presenting technical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US SECRET clearance; US Citizenship required
Desired Skills:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/combined education
• Ability to identify needs, prioritize work, and drive tasks to completion with minimal supervision
• Ability to work independently as well as part of an integrated team
• Previous Project Management experience
• Previous experience working with the FBM program
• Familiarity with Navy Strategic System Program (SSP) Customer
• Experience with cost modeling, schedule analysis, or related engineering/analytics disciplines is highly valuable.
• Active Secret security clearance

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
