USCG Programmatic/Technical Support Consultant

Atlas Technologies is seeking a highly dedicated and results-driven Programmatic/Technical Support Consultant with extensive experience in the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG). This role demands a professional who excels in senior-level Information Technology and Program Management, as well as strategic planning for operational technology and integrated systems governance. If you possess a strong record of leading teams to deliver innovative hardware and software solutions while fostering productive partnerships, we want to hear from you.

• Flexibility to work remotely up to 30 hours/week
• Ability to travel up to 20% or 1-2 times/month

You WIll:

• Lifecycle Management: Oversee planning, programming, and budgeting for communications systems, including integrated shipboard technologies and thousands of fixed and handheld radios
• Collaboration: Work with partners across CG Headquarters, DHS, DOD, and industry to ensure alignment of investment programs and sustainment strategies
• Change Management: Advocate for process improvements and innovative solutions to achieve superior project outcomes and reduce costs
• Risk Management: Conduct mission and risk-based cybersecurity assessments and develop innovative acquisition strategies
• Communication and Reporting: Prepare and present decision support products for executive leadership and maintain rigorous project documentation

You Have:

• U.S Citizenship
• Minimum 25 years of experience with USCG in senior-level IT and program management at O-6 rank
• Proven track record of managing complex budgets, risk assessment, and strategic planning
• Familiarity with cybersecurity standards and lifecycle management practices
• Strong problem-solving skills with a history of successful project completions
• Experience in building partnerships and leading teams toward shared goals and objectives
• Knowledge of federal acquisition processes and the ability to navigate resourcing hurdles creatively

We'd Be Impressed If You Had:

• Master's degree in engineering management or a related field
• Additional certifications in Program/Project Management or Contracting Officer's Representative (COR)
• Experience with C5I systems and USCG operational frameworks
• Demonstrated history of innovative solutions and exceptional customer service in a technical environment
