Description
Leidos is seeking a Sr. Systems Integrator to manage and direct day-to-day IT support operations for the US Department of the Army (DA) G2. The senior-level Systems Integrator will support the US Department of the Army (DA) G2 program which provides IT repair, maintenance, operations, logistics, and engineering services to help ensure secure, reliable, and uninterrupted availability of Army Military Intelligence Enterprise IT Systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for major Technical/Engineering projects of higher-than-normal complexity.
This is a high-visibility role supporting U.S. government, military, and coalition partners. The selected candidate will serve as the interface between Leidos and multiple government stakeholders, ensuring mission success in a dynamic operational environment. You will lead a small to medium team of IT professionals while overseeing operations and technical project execution.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage and provide technical leadership to a team of technicians.
- Lead, manage, and execute projects approved by the Government and documented in the ticketing system.
- Supervise technicians through project completion and coordinate the activities assigned to specific projects.
- Ensure uninterrupted systems operation and provide installation, maintenance, and repair of systems’ hardware and software components utilizing industry standards and approved processes.
- Determine isolation and resolution of complex hardware and software problems involving the application, the operating system, the hardware, the communications infrastructure, and/or any combination thereof.
- Perform systems administration of desktop and server systems connected to local and wide area networks; desktop system management responsibilities involving account monitoring, security, OS installations, and other systems related functions.
- Administer Active Directory services, member servers and storage, integrate new technologies into new and existing systems, including the transition and migration of enterprise systems.
- Ensure the transition and migration of networks and development of network addressing schemes and administration of Microsoft domains.
- Provide inputs and assist with planning, research, design, development, testing, implementation, integration, of hardware systems and software applications.
- Plan and perform engineering research, design development, and other assignments in conformance with design, engineering, and customer specifications.
- Perform a variety of analytical tasks which are broad in nature and are concerned with design and implementation including personnel, hardware, software, and support facilities and/or equipment.
- Provide input to in-progress reviews on IT projects and maintain effective communications and required reporting with government and other site leadership.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of prior relevant experience or Master’s degree and 10+ years of prior relevant experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Active DoW TS/SCI security clearance.
- Currently possess DoD 8570 (8140) certification at IAT level II, CompTIA Security+ CE or higher.
- Currently possess MS Server 2019 or newer Administrator or higher certification.
- Currently possess Microsoft Azure or 365 or related certification or the ability to obtain the certification after hire.
- Advanced experience designing, evaluating, maintaining and troubleshooting Windows Server 2019 or newer using the most current technologies.
- Experience leading small to medium size IT projects.
- Experienced in the use of Microsoft terminal services and system recovery tools.
- Experience with the latest VMware vSphere/ESXi.
- Experience with virtual desktop implementation.
- Experienced with patching and system upgrades that occur in a classified environment.
- Experience with the following systems and tools: ACAS, Azure, DHCP, DNS, HBSS, Hyper-V, Microsoft 365, SCCM, SharePoint, SQL, SMTP, AD, and VMware. Understanding of help desk ticketing tools (Microsoft System Center and ServiceNow).
- Ability to upgrade Windows servers and skills needed to confidently plan, deliver, operate, and manage Microsoft server infrastructure solutions across multiple solution areas in a DoW enterprise environment.
- Expert knowledge of operational support activities with the ability to administer Windows server and desktop Infrastructure.
- Advanced knowledge of PowerShell and the ability to write custom scripts for various purposes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ITIL certification.
- Experience with Cisco UCS.
- Understanding of Army enterprise environment.
