About the Role
Join Client MFC in Arlington, Texas, as a Components Engineer at the forefront of our nation's defense. Support critical LTIAMD and PAC-3 programs by ensuring the quality and reliability of electrical, electronic, and electro-mechanical (EEE) components used in advanced weapon systems. This influential position bridges development and production, giving you the chance to solve complex technical challenges and impact mission success.

Responsibilities

- Evaluate and ensure the quality of EEE components as they transition from development to production
- Analyze electrical component failures and drive root cause analysis and corrective action planning
- Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, specifications, and contracts to support quality engineering processes
- Develop and implement quality test and inspection methods to turn materials into reliable products
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production process issues at all assembly levels
- Review and support product development plans, ensuring compliance with military standards and performance specifications
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics related to product quality and production velocity

Required Skills and Experience

- Active Secret Clearance (required to start)
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience/education
- Hands-on experience in electrical component failure analysis
- Proven problem-solving skills in complex technical environments
- Microelectronics fabrication and test experience
- Proficiency in interpreting technical documents and electrical drawings
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting
- Effective interpersonal and technical communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (including Access)

Preferred Skills

- Familiarity with Military Standards 202, 883, 750 and MIL-PRF 38534, 38535, 19500, 55342
- Knowledge of ICs, discrete semiconductors, PWB, and assembly processing
- Audit technique understanding
- Lean/Six Sigma certification, ASQ CQE or CQIA
- SAP/QNOTES experience
- Advanced AS9100 application skills
- PDP, MRB, PPAP, or electronics manufacturing inspection experience
