Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Manager, Product Support Technical Publications 2 to join our team of individuals within our Product Support organization supporting the F-35 JSF Program located in El Segundo, CA. This leadership role will be full-time in the office with nominal travel responsibilities, including potential for international travel.
This role will support and work directly with the F-35 Sustainment Program Office, and customer operations in a variety of locations, and include all aspects for overseeing, sustaining operations, and providing timely, knowledge-based Product Support direction. Position will have direct supervisory and/or management responsibilities for more than one integrated support element, with focus on development of Operation and Maintenance (O&M) Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs).

Primary Level Salary Range: $133,100.00 - $199,700.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

Responsibilities
- Provide daily leadership, direction and development of the F-35 Sustainment and Supply Support Management team, ensuring members have sufficient training, statement of work and accountable for quality and timeliness of deliverables to customers
- Serve as the Control Account Manager (CAM) responsible for all Technical Data contracts Labor Dollar control accounts on the F-35 Program
- Accountable for leading day-to-day operational support of the functional organization and resolving critical or urgent technical issues or schedule impacts associated with Operation and Maintenance (O&M) and Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs) requirements
- Collaborate frequently with Program Leadership on significant emerging pressures, mitigation plans, and cost improvement opportunities; drive affordability initiatives to improve operational efficiencies throughout the Technical Data Statement of Work (SOW)
- Drive integration of efficiency initiatives, requirements, configuration, as well as other program needs to include management and mitigation of issues and risks
- Assist with Long Range Strategic Plan (LRSP) and strategic growth initiatives needed to grow the sustainment business portfolio
- Accountable for department retention, recruiting and hiring
Basic Qualifications:
- Must either have a Bachelor's Degree and at least 9 years of proposal, program integration, supply chain and/or logistics experience OR a Master's Degree and 5 years of proposal, program integration, supply chain and/or logistics experience or a PhD and 1 year of experience of proposal, program integration, supply chain and/or logistics experience
- Possess basic understanding and application of Technical Publications principles, concepts, practices, and standards and proficient project management skills to oversee development of Technical Data products
- Perficient with PTC Arbortext Editor software or similar SGML tagging system editor
- Conversant with agile frameworks (Scrum / Kanban)
- Experienced on programs as well as sector business, processes and technical tools (PDM, CATIA V5 and TeamCenter Visualization Studio (VAS))
- Basic understanding of PTC IsoDraw software or similar graphic Design software
- Proficient in use of Microsoft business tools (Visio, Excel, Project, MS Teams)
- Experience leading a team and/or project and interfacing with external customers
- Basic knowledge of earned value processes and procedures
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a business or technical field
- Experience in the military aerospace development environment is preferred
- F-35 program experience
- Proficiency using program business tools; SAP, JDL, and Jira
- Experience in formal risk and issues management
- Advanced proposal experience
- Experience with S1000D Mil Spec usage
- Aircraft maintenance experience
- Experience in spares, repairs, technical data, and support equipment
- Program and portfolio management experience
- Prior Cost Account Management (CAM) experience
- Active, In scope DoD Secret clearance
