SPA has an immediate need for a Financial Analyst-Inventory Reconciliation.
Responsibilities
The role involves delivering department-wide inventory reconciliations within Advana or Palantir Foundry to support financial reporting and audit requirements, including valuation accuracy and General Ledger (GL) tie-outs. This effort encompasses creating inventory reconciliations for each Working Capital Fund (WCF) agency within the Department of Work (DoW) using advanced data platforms. Responsibilities include establishing subledger-to-GL tie-points for reconciling quantities, values, and financial line mappings. The scope also covers tracking Work-in-Process (WIP) and in-transit inventory items, managing inter-agency transfers-including denials and returns-with traceability back to source transactions, and harmonizing master data such as material numbers, Unit Identification Codes (UICs), storage locations, and condition codes. Additionally, the role entails identifying unmatched or unreconciled balances, categorizing them by age buckets and root-cause codes, and providing workflow-driven corrective actions to resolve discrepancies. This initiative is critical to ensuring accuracy, traceability, and accountability in inventory management across the DoW enterprise.
At SPA, we strive to deliver a robust total compensation package that will attract and retain the top talent. Elements of the compensation package include competitive base pay and variable compensation opportunities.
SPA provides eligible employees with an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and a number of programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work.
The specific programs and options available to any given employee may vary depending on eligibility factors such as geographic location, date of hire, etc. Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Salary Range: $100k-$130k.
