Integration Engineer
The Opportunity:
Are you looking for an opportunity to create technical synergy that will modernize and secure Air Force security operations? As an integration engineer, you know the importance of ensuring disparate security systems and technologies work together. You're eager to apply your defense and force protection knowledge to develop creative solutions.
On our team, you'll design, develop, and implement solutions for sof tware integration projects across functions or between organizations that'll directly impact Air Force security. Using Agile met hodologies and systems engineering lifecycle processes, you'll work alongside sof tware development engineers to integrate a wide array of sensors, command and control ( C2 ) sof tware, and data platforms. You'll use tools like Zero T rus t frameworks, containerization tools like Docker, and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, to plan, organize, and c ond uct integration projects that meet design specifications and standards from inception to completion.
In this role, you'll impact the security mission by creating a common operational picture and enhancing situational awareness for the warfighter. With opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we focus on growing and collaborating as a team to make the best solutions for our customers.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- 5+ years of experience designing, developing, and implementing solutions for sof tware and hardware integration projects using Agile met hods
- Experience with systems engineering or sof tware engineering principles and the Agile development lifecycle
- Experience creating integration plans, interface control documents ( ICDs ) , and procedures based on system requirements
- Experience acquiring client requirements and resolving system interoperability problems
- Experience creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative, cross-functional team
- Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform integration testing and maintenance
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in a CS or Systems Engineering field
Nice If You Have:
- Experience integrating security systems such as sensors, access control, video management systems ( VMS ) , or C2 platforms
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes, or cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
- Knowledge of Zero T rus t Architecture ( ZTA ) principles
- Ability to script in languages such as Python or Bash, to automate integration tasks
- Secret clearance
- Master's degree in a technical field
- CompTIA Security+ or other DoD 8570-compliant Certification
