Quality Engineer
The Opportunity:
As a Quality Engineer at Booz Allen, you will ensure that products, processes, and systems meet rigorous quality standards throughout the lifecycle of development and production. You will collaborate with engineering teams, suppliers, and program managers to implement quality assurance practices, c ond uct and approve inspections, and lead and implement root cause and corrective actions as a part of continuous improvement initiatives.
On our team, you'll be part of manufacturing and delivering hardware in support of hypersonic range modernization, testing, and evaluation projects. You'll work with key stakeholders turning engineering designs into hardware reality, assuring manufacturability and compliance of designs with vendors, and defining and implementing the processes, met hods, and tools required to deliver hardware. You'll be a key part in the Booz Allen Quality Management System, assuring compliance to standards, met hods, and processes throughout the design and delivery cycle.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,300.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing or quality engineering role
- Experience with CAD or CAM sof tware
- Experience evaluating and comprehending GR & R
- Experience creating inspection or verification routings in machining or assembly operations
- Experience using and interpreting coordinate measuring machine results
- Experience with gage design
- Experience working within AS9100 or ISO9001-based Quality Management Systems
- Knowledge of ASME Y14.5 for geo met ric dimensioning and tolerancing
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or Technology field such as Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with continuous improvement projects
- Experience with root cause or corrective action tools
- Experience in Supply Chain or vendor quality management
- Experience leading hardware non-conformance RCCA and disposition
- Secret clearance
- ASME Y14.5 Certification
