Application Developer

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Application Developer to support a company focused on delivering secure, mission-critical technology solutions for federal customers. This position is on-site in King of Prussia, PA. The Application Developer will design, develop, troubleshoot, and enhance applications across multiple operating environments to drive high-impact mission objectives. Join a team supporting national-level programs where your technical contributions directly strengthen critical operations.

Responsibilities for the Application Developer include:

• Applying standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the software development lifecycle

• Developing software using knowledge of hardware, software, mission/business applications, and user requirements

• Identifying and correcting program errors, documenting development efforts, and analyzing system capabilities

• Ensuring software standards are defined, implemented, and maintained

• Supporting dynamic and evolving user needs across complex system environments

Required Qualifications for the Application Developer include:

• Java development experience

• Experience with XML, COTS/FOSS integration, and multi-OS environments (Linux/Windows)

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Ability to learn and adopt new technologies quickly

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field

• Active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance

Compensation for the Application Developer includes:

Salary Range: $135,000 - $175,000, depending on experience
