Salary Statement

Estimated Starting Salary Range: USD $111,100.00/Yr. - USD $185,100.00/Yr. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
Description

• Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining application software that supports DoD mission systems
• Working with stakeholders to gather requirements, write clean, secure code, and integrate software components with hardware platforms

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related technical discipline (ABET/CAE) or associate's degree with four years of experience or six years of experience
• Active DoD Top Secret (or higher)
• Three or more productive years in software development (CSWF Intermediate)

Desired Skills

• Proficiency in one or more languages (C/C++, Java, Python, or C#) and modern development frameworks
• Experience with version‑control systems (Git, SVN) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
• Knowledge of secure‑coding practices (OWASP, NIST 800‑53) and ability to perform static/dynamic code analysis
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and ability to work in cross‑functional teams
• Experience integrating software with hardware interfaces (UART, SPI, CAN, Ethernet)
• Ability to produce technical design documents, unit‑test plans, and user manuals
• Preferred certifications are CISSP, CISM, CISA, CompTIA Security+, or any DoD‑approved baseline

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET LEVEL WITH TOP SECRET / SCI ELIGIBILITY

Travel Requirements

• Domestic travel up to 10% of the year (≈ 2 weeks)
• International travel less than 5% of the year, only when required for overseas coordination and clearance approval
