TSC's Radar and Precision Weapons Development (RPWD) organization is seeking a Lead Software Engineer in Huntsville, AL to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in rapid prototyping of software, a passion for problem-solving, and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams. This role involves designing, developing, and testing software for state-of-the-art software defined radios.

Responsibilities
- Architect, design, develop, and maintain software for ARM-based processors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX and embedded software engineers, to solve complex problems
- Research new technology (such as Direct to RF and AI/ML) for early adoption
- Document software designs, development processes, and test plans and results
- Mentor junior engineers
- Support integration, test, and demonstrations
- Brief customers and stakeholders on technical topics
Required Qualifications
- BS and minimum 15 years of experience in industry
- Ability to prioritize work and maximize productivity
- Ability to work without oversight
- Demonstrated technical leadership
- Possess excellent organizational and communications skills
- Experience with radar, SIGINT, and/or electronic warfare product development
- Experience with unmanned systems RF payloads
- Experience with µService embedded software solutions
- Experience with Yocto, Artifactory, Git, JIRA, and Jenkins
- Experience with AMD/Xilinx SoC devices (RFSoC, Versal, VersalRF)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET DoD Clearance.
- U.S. Citizenship required
