We are looking for a Personnel Management Speciialist to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO.
Responsibilities
- Support the professional and career development training program ensuring personnel training history records are complete, accurate and IAW regulatory guidelines; confirm system input and output information is correct; maintain and track Basic Developmental Education (BDE), Acquisition Program Development Plan (APDP) and Individual Development Plan (IDP); review and track Professional Military Education (PME) nomination packages and Acquisition Program Development Plan (APDP); ensure accuracy of duty/assignment histories and training information; maintain and update training data contained in databases to track and coordinate efforts; coordinate and announce developmental opportunities to personnel; monitor and ensure personnel acquire all training necessary to fulfill requirements consistent with their professional developmental and career advancement goals.
- Review, process and submit military and civilian awards and decorations IAW AFPD 36-28 and AFI 36-2803; provide weekly status reports/briefings regarding the awards program, including timeliness statistics; and provide semi-annual briefings regarding awards policies, directives and regulations; and maintain and update information contained in databases to track and coordinate efforts.
- Support Manpower and Personnel Management, providing guidance and assisting management in completing manpower and personnel documentation; will assist in writing and maintaining operating instructions and procedures such as maintenance of an accurate organizational baseline, organizational charts, functional statements, job descriptions, and unit mission.
- This position will help oversee the organization's military performance report, feedbacks, and military promotion programs. Candidate will provide weekly status briefings regarding the Officer Performance Report (OPR)/Enlisted Performance Report (EPR) program, including timeliness statistics; develop semi-annual briefings regarding OPR/EPR policies, duty titles and change of reporting officials, directives and regulations; schedule/monitor EPR/OPR processing; and maintain and update information contained in databases to track and coordinate efforts.
Skills Required
- 10-15 years of combined industry and federal government experience (such as DoD/NASA/NRO employee or SETA/FFRDC supporting federal government acquisition)
- Experience with United States Air Force (USAF), United States Space Force (USSF), and/or Space Systems Command (SSC) chain of command
- Experience interfacing and support Executive level officers and leadership
- Interest and ability to work in a dynamic work environment
- Must be able perform all duties independently and onsite in Colorado Springs, CO
- U.S. citizenship required
- Active Secret security clearance required
- Education: Bachelor's Degree required
- Salary Range: $95,000 - $105,000
