Position Overview
LaunchCode is seeking an experienced Appian Platform Administrator to support mission-critical initiatives within a secure Intelligence Community environment. This role supports enterprise-scale, high-visibility systems operating in classified environments. The ideal candidate can operate independently, take full ownership of platform health and security, and contribute immediately within a high-trust, operational setting. This position requires a security-first mindset, strong technical judgment, and the ability to manage platform operations while maintaining strict compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Administer, configure, and maintain the Appian platform within a classified environment
• Ensure platform availability, stability, and performance across mission applications
• Manage and maintain security configurations, logging, auditing, and access controls
• Support and maintain integrations with enterprise services (e.g., identity management, directory services, monitoring tools)
• Apply and maintain Information Assurance (IA) controls in accordance with mission requirements
• Monitor system health and proactively resolve operational issues
• Support patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management of the Appian platform
• Collaborate with developers, security teams, and enterprise stakeholders to maintain compliant and secure operations
• Document configurations, processes, and operational procedures
Required Qualifications
• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) – must be active Day 1
• Strong hands-on experience administering the Appian platform
• Experience supporting secure or classified environments
• Understanding of platform security, logging, and access control best practices
• Experience integrating Appian with enterprise services and tools
• Ability to work independently and take technical ownership of platform operations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Exposure to Information Assurance (IA) support in INT-B and INT-C environments
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale Appian deployments
• Familiarity with secure network architectures and compliance frameworks
• Prior experience supporting Intelligence Community programs
