Autonodyne is a Boston-based software AI company specializing in command and control of autonomous vehicles. Our software suite sits at the nexus of Human-Machine Interface & Autonomy Behaviors. We are a small company - you will have an immediate impact on the growing success of our organization. Autonodyne’s office is in the Seaport District of Boston, Massachusetts and is looking for a Facility Security Officer (FSO).

Position Summary:
The Facility Security Officer (FSO) manages, administers, and coordinates DoD or other industrial security programs and other security activities to ensure compliance with all government and company security policies and procedures.
The responsibility of the FSO is to process and review personnel security clearances and maintain all security documentation, files and clearance and suitability rosters in accordance with government requirements. The FSO will need to have a solid understanding and experience of the NISPOM and general security requirements for DoD and other Federal agencies.
All applicants must currently possess an active U.S. Security Clearance. The U.S. Government only grants Security Clearances to U.S. Citizens, therefore at this time we are unable to hire non-U.S. Citizens.

Qualifications:
• Coordination of incident response details with a formal notification to Government as an Administrative
• Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience, preferably in a security position for the government or government contractor (e.g. FSO or Assistant FSO, ISSM, ISSO)
• Completion of FSO curriculum for Possessing Facilities within 1 year of hire
• Understanding Successful Risk Management versus compliance requirements to enable mission success
• Attention to detail as it pertains to record keeping and interactions with Government Representatives
• Prior experience managing multiple government customers is desired.
• Prior experience with a FOCI company is desired.
• Prior experience with COMSEC is desired.
• Security +, A+, Network +, ISP and/or CISSP Certifications is desired
• Experience in standing up / managing secure facilities
• U.S. Citizenship Required

Responsibilities:
• The FSO will be responsible for administering, executing, and ensuring organizational compliance to Department of Defense (DoD) and company regulations, policies and procedures governing the protection of DoD classified and non-classified information.
• The FSO will support all security functions related to personnel, facilities and infrastructure in accordance with the 32 CFR 117 and National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM)
• Submit, process, and maintain personnel security applications (SF86s) within e-QIP through Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA)
• Maintain the facility clearance level (FCL)
• Provide relevant and timely corrective actions to any self-inspection findings
• Manage proper receipt and dispatch records for all incoming and outgoing classified shipments or hand carries
• Conduct security briefings and debriefings
• Oversee facility design, security alarms, physical security standards and safeguards
• Track classified contract and classified sub-contract activities, ensuring compliance with DD254s
• Manage contract close out disposition for classified contracts, their holdings and information systems
• Standard Practices and Procedures (SPPs), Operational Security (OPSEC), Emergency Action Plans (EAPs) and Risk Analysis Investigations specific to the facility.
• Establish and maintain effective security awareness training including, as required: Annual Security Briefings, Counterintelligence, Espionage, Insider Threat, Courier, NATO, debriefings, indoctrinations, pre/post-foreign travel briefings, and all other mandated briefings.
• Conduct periodic self-inspections to ensure security program compliance; accurately reports security posture to site leadership groups, and corporate leadership.
• Oversee badging of employees, visitors, consultants, and government representatives to ensure compliance.
• Manage visit requests including DoD Common Access Card (CAC) and Cleared personnel visit requests utilizing DISS. Process and manage personnel security clearances using DISS and assist new applicants with the e-QIP process. Conduct annual clearance justifications and advise leadership when an employee does not meet clearance requirements.
• Manage the Operational Security (OPSEC) requirements for all government sensitive programs and ensure personnel cleared on those programs receive initial and refresher training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Work Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years Facility Security Officer related experience Working knowledge of National Industrial Security Program Operations Manual (NISPOM).
• Completion of the CDSE Facility Security Officer for Possessing Facilities course.
• Completion of additional Department of Defense (DoD) and Federal Government courses related to security (CDSE STEPP courses) is desired.
• Currently possess an active U.S. Security Clearance

• Analytical ability to understand and interpret government and company security policies and procedures (i.e., DoD Manual 5205.07, Vols I-IV, ICD 704, 705, JAFAN, JSIG, and RMF).

Travel Requirements:
• This position may involve local and global travel up to 20% of the time.

Other Criteria:
Domicile near the Boston/Cambridge metro area, relocation to Boston area part of compensation package, if necessary.

Salary Range: $125,000-$150,000 per year
