TEKsystems is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist with a focus on electronic classroom technical support. In this role, you will ensure student training infrastructure remains fully functional and available, while also managing and configuring Active Directory accounts. You’ll play a key role in supporting end users by monitoring system performance, resolving technical issues, and identifying opportunities to improve a mission-critical network. Your ability to interpret system metrics and communicate their impact will be essential, as will your experience managing users and computers in an enterprise environment.

SEC+ and secret clearance required
The ideal candidate will have at least three years of relevant IT experience, including system and network administration, hardware/software integration, and routine maintenance such as break/fix support, backup and recovery, and asset management. Additional experience with multimedia systems, COI network operations, local group policy, and file share administration is highly valued. Familiarity with configuration and change management, lifecycle support, and workstation/server hardware installation and troubleshooting is essential. Candidates should also have knowledge of system development, cyber defense compliance, and the ability to connect non-Navy workstations to the network. Onsite service center support experience is a plus. A Security+ certification or a qualifying bachelor’s degree and an active or interim DoD Secret clearance are required.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr.
