Savvee Inc. is seeking a highly capable Continuity Analyst to support our federal client onsite in Alexandria, VA. The ideal candidate will strengthen the organization’s readiness by developing and refining COOP strategies, assessing vulnerabilities, and ensuring critical functions can withstand and recover from disruptions. This role offers the opportunity to shape mission‑critical resilience efforts, lead high‑impact readiness initiatives, and work collaboratively across teams to enhance the organization’s ability to operate confidently in any environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Developing, maintaining, and continuously updating Continuity of Operations (COOP) strategies, plans, and procedures to align with mission changes, operational requirements, and evolving threat environments.
• Defining and documenting how the organization responds to, sustains operations through, and recovers from disruptions while ensuring critical agency functions remain operational.
• Identifying organizational vulnerabilities, assessing potential impacts, and designing response and recovery strategies for a range of emergency scenarios.
• Coordinating with the client to reconcile deployment rosters and personnel status, ensuring accurate accountability and reporting.
• Designing, executing, and evaluating COOP scenarios, tests, and exercises to validate plan effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities.
• Engaging and communicating with internal stakeholders and external agencies to ensure coordination, collaboration, and organizational buy‑in for COOP planning efforts.
• Partnering with IT and operational teams to plan for the relocation, restoration, and continuity of critical IT systems and infrastructure in support of COOP requirements.
• Conducting office equipment readiness, inventories, end‑user maintenance, and preparation to support COOP deployments.
• Analyzing the client’s regional readiness and deployment capabilities, including personnel, equipment, and operational posture.
• Reviewing and assessing situation reports, deployment rosters, and resource tracking data for accuracy and operational awareness.
• Performing Business Impact Analyses (BIA) to evaluate the effects of potential disruptions on critical functions and operations.
• Supporting Disaster Recovery Planning, with a focus on restoring IT systems and infrastructure following network or service interruptions.
• Understanding the organizational policies and procedures for accuracy of solutions and deliverables to the client.
• Demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer support.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND TRAINING
• Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
• Five or more years of experience in data analysis or related work
• Familiarity with continuity of operations planning, disaster recovery scheduling, and risk analysis
• Must have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance and the client’s suitability
• A proficiency in utilizing MS Office products
• Proven knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and hands-on experience applying AI solutions
• Capable of completing all functional tasks without supervision
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A highly motivated self-starter
• Must be motivated and have excellent customer service skills
DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Prior experience with DHS
• Law enforcement experience
