Nexagen Networks continues expanding its cleared operations footprint while supporting the United States Army and Joint missions across the Fort Meade and Hanover corridor. We are growing our team of cleared professionals across facilities management, engineering, program support, and mission-critical operations.
As a Facilities & Building Manager, you will lead building operations, coordinate facility modifications, and ensure effective space utilization across federal government sites. You will work closely with government representatives, vendors, and internal teams to maintain secure, functional, and compliant work environments.
Position Responsibilities
• Resolve on-site facilities problems by assisting the Government with system furniture management and the creation/maintenance of layouts.
• Plan and schedule facility modifications in coordination with manufacturers, vendors, the Corps of Engineers, and property management owners.
• Serve as the primary liaison for building operations and telephone communications between Government offices and contractor organizations.
• Monitor service lifecycle by generating and reviewing all service-related work requests and service orders.
• Lead relocation efforts, managing in-house moves, work order monitoring, and coordination with the Corps of Engineers on lease requirements.
• Support infrastructure design by assisting with new and existing design efforts and the generation of facility plans.
• Execute telecommunications oversight, including planning requirements, reviewing system changes, and researching billings for accuracy and payment certification.
• Coordinate security and host organization actions relating to building operations, physical security, and facility modification requests.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of five years of related experience in facilities management, maintenance, or operations.
• Experience overseeing the allocation and utilization of space, including office layouts and meeting rooms.
• Proven ability to coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
• Experience providing escort for non-cleared personnel and managing administrative support data for federal counterparts.
